Henry McCarty, a.k.a. Billy the Kid. Legend says he killed 21 men, one for every year he lived; in reality, he probably didn’t even kill five. Shot and killed by Sheriff Pat Garrett, the Kid is buried in the cemetery behind the Billy the Kid Museum.
