Chattanooga Military Park, Tennessee

Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park, Tennessee and Georgia – This was the site of several important battles between Confederate and Union soldiers during the Civil War. In 1863, Union troops attempted to, and succeeded in, seizing Chattanooga, a city in eastern Tennessee surrounded by mountains.
