There is a similar app for all car drivers, bike riders, pedestrians etc in Russia that’s much more functional & attractive for users from different countries. I think Meetupmoto developers could investigate it & make this app better.

E.g. I can’t filter out users according to their location because there is no reason for me to watch the US users posts… The US is just 300 mln, the number of bikers is negligible in global scale. I’d like to choose “Russia”, “St-Petersburg”…. In order to enable this option you have to ask the user about his/her location on the stage of “Registering”. Besides this it could be very useful if users could choose the bike brand name & model in their Profile. It will help to easy search for bike-mates with similar models to chat about experience & maintenance.
Another very useful thing is “GPS data”: you could add a map to the App to enable users to “see” each other on the map & find someone who are next to you to message him/her & then meet. Of course this option should not be obligatory for everyone. The one who wants to keep “untraceable” must be able to switch this option off.
Besides this it’s quite irrational to make an App for bikers ONLY, because the number of bikers is incomparable with the number of car drivers & moreover pedestrians… There are a lot of friendships between bikers & car drivers & you do not give them a chance to communicate in your App.
In the end if the day the App will work as a huge Social Network where road users with different interested can meet each other, chat with each other, share positive moments (including pictures) in “News feed”, share comments etc. It can compete with Instagram & FB even.

This is a motorcycle social platform where users can chat, meet, find and join groups in their area, nationally etc. This is not a car platform.
The MeetupMoto platform allows you to make friends, message, post content and more.
The platform is topical and so the content you will see will depend on whether you are following anyone, Part of any groups and connections you create. This is then the content posts you will see. If you do not have many if any then you will see more public posts but these will get fewer and fewer the more connections, followers and groups you become part of that are posting content.
Unfortunately we are not a billion dollar company like facebook with untold resources we are new and started by bikers that have travelled the world riding and set this platform up to meet the missing needs they had whilst traveling and riding. This platform is built and supported by them and provided for free for riders to use, and we understand that it does not yet meet the needs for everyone. I hope this helps, many thanks-
I got your idea but 2 posts in “News feed” over the last 2-3 months…. Do you think it’s enough?
Such Apps in Russia have got hundreds of posts in news feed every day…
Public posts in News Feed make the App users a community. Lots of people scroll the news feed as a tool to have fun during boring times.
I think you plan to promote this App for the US bikers only. If so, I have nothing to say. It will not discover its full potential, both social & commercial.
