A bob for bar hopping/town cruising…distance riding I don’t know, I don’t do much more than day-trips, and I like my Heritage Classic for those just fine…

I I’ve ridden my breakout around town but also to florida and back to nw ohio in 4 days 2400 miles bike and rider did just fine

I transitioned from sport bikes(cbr1000rr) to touring last year. It’s been a nice change of pace!

I had a 2014 ducati panigale 1199s then I got the 18 breakout. Then traded the 1199 off for a v4s Ducati and in the middle I got a 2002 harley deuce fxstdi

The Harley Softail Heritage is probably the most convertible bike, the windshield and bags come right off so it can be a bar hop easily, but put the shield and bags back on, maybe add the optional tour pack and boom! you got a decent bagger.

I loved my softail, but I’ve crossed the country multiple times on my road glide. For long camping trips/touring, I love my old man bike.
